In 2003 I decided to take Real Estate Courses at our local College. Little did I know that I would be finishing up that course and would end as a Mortgage Loan Processor for the college professor that taught at that school. I decided to go that route to get a feel for Real Estate and to learn what it was all about. After 2 ½ years processing loans I was asked to be a receptionist at their real estate office. I took upon both jobs and once I started learning and seeing what the agents did and what it was to sell a house, I knew this would be my opportunity to take the next step and become a REALTOR! In March 2006, I became a licensed Texas REALTOR! I did really well my first year and decided to do it full time after that. Over 10 years of lending/reale estate experience, I know all the in and outs of all real estate transactions and love what I do and will continue this career.
I’m married, have two small children and love that my job gives me enough time to spend it with my family and gives me some travel time. I am a member of the Harlingen Board of Realtors and also serve as a Director on their board. Member of the Women’s Council of Realtors –Brownsville Chapter and serve as their Treasurer and also member of the Texas Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors a past student/graduate of Leadership Harlingen (Harlingen Area Chamber of Commerce) and a current Member.
I love working as a buyer’s agent and helping my clients find their NEW home! I call myself the HUD Queen sometimes as I love to sell HUD – Government (Foreclosure) owned homes. I also have experience with Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Wells Fargo and Bank of America Foreclosures. I work with several Mortgage Lenders in my town and can find you the absolute best deal out there! I also do quite a bit of listing and can refer you to rental or commercial agents if needed.
